fragmentarity as a metaphysic is at the end of the day radically ambivalent. it can be spun in any which way. it can be used to argue for or against racism, sexism, capitalism, imperialism, ableism etc. just because i may have co-created the term/concept from m(y) specific assemblage of life experiences doesn’t mean i control what can/will be done with it.
it is good then, that 1. “the end of the day” as an actual reality barely ever exists, if at all and 2. that fragmentarity cannot be relegated/isolated to the realm of metaphysics (just as metaphysics cannot be isolated from ethics).
so in the case of m(y) fragments of fragmentarity as an ethic, the specific fragments i wish and work to embody, their core tenets are: solidarity, care, freedom,
